Ariesz Top 5 Songs of the Month
Monday, April 13, 2009 at Monday, April 13, 2009 | 0 comments
Its been awhile, but i'm back and i wanted to hitchu up with the 5 songs that i can't get outta my head RIGHT NOW. Count em down!

5. David Archuleta-Running

So i heard the demo awhile back by Mr.James Fauntleroy and i fell in love with the track. I was a bit worried for awhile cause i wasn't sure who was gonna get it, but i couldn't be any happier that David got it, he does the song justice and sounds good on the track.

4.Cassie ft. Day 26 & Diddy-Must Be Love

I don't know if this was a top 5 track b4, but its def my ringtone right now and i can't get enough of it. Cassie's voice has always worked for me, especially on slow laid back tracks like this one, and when you add Day 26 and Diddy, the chemistry is just magical.

3. Day 26-Honest & BiPolar

Okay im cheating, but i love these 2 songs. like most of my favorite songs, they caught me completely off guard. But i fell in love with them right away. Both dope track and the boys sound amazing, they know what works and they don't miss a beat on any song.

2. Diddy ft. Brandy-Thought You Said

I often criticize Diddy for the way he handles projects over at Bad Boy and this album is exactly why. Press Play was an AMAZING project that really brought together some of music's greatest talents, and was promoted really well. Why he couldn't promote Danity Kane, Day 26, or Donnie like this is beyond me. Smh
'Though You Said' was one of those songs on the album that didn't quiet make sense at first, but once it catches you, it doesn't let go. They both put it down on this track, and its a must listen indeed.

1. Kanye West-Amazing

it was my anthem for spring break, and one of his best songs off the album. The beat is just awesome, and the tracks hella catchy. Gotta love the Kan-man.

Bonus Joint-

You Know i had to hitchu with a bonus, and he's been getting plays from me all week, so i gotta shout out ryan Leslie and the track "Promise Not 2 Call", it was knocking hard on thursday and i had to make sure i showed it some love.

Make sure to go check all those joints out, and hit me up with you top 5!

Making the Band Drama
Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Saturday, April 11, 2009 | 0 comments

So i been watching religiously this season, and i gotta say im just about tired of Que's bitching. I'm glad things are starting to come together tho and after this episode i have hope for the guys.

Diddy knows how to find good acts, but he never really learns how to push em. I hope he's learned his lesson with Danity Kane and doesn't just sit there and what these boys fall apart for the sake of good tv. And what's really good with Donnie's career??

And as far as his decision with Danity kane is concerned...it looks like he might be remaking the group. He did say Danity Kane needed a new start, so maybe he's gonna hold auditions for 3 new girls.

Your thoughts?? What does Diddy have in store for Dawn and Drea?

Behind the Scenes Videos

Check out this clip of Day 26 on the set of their next single "stadium music". Im happy this song is getting the single treatment, and i'm hoping the group releases it soon. It looks like they are going for the two single edge, releasing one song for R&B fans and another one to appeal to a more Pop audience.

Check out Lil Kim behind the scenes for her new video "Download". I love me some kim, and she looks nice in this new video.

Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Thursday, April 09, 2009 | 0 comments

Check out this mash up of Cassie's latest single "Must Be Love". The boys of Day 26 initially recorded the track awhile back before it was given to the young diva, so i decided to put both versions together. Think it came out pretty good, let me know whatchu think.

MTV is putting the leak on Day 26 new album "Forever in a Day". The album sounds great and much like Danity Kane on their sophomore album, the boys seem to have really found a formula that works for them in the studio. Artist of the Month: Day 26
Thursday, April 2, 2009 at Thursday, April 02, 2009 | 0 comments

Now i was debating long and hard who to choose to hold it down for the fellas this month, and nobody seemed to fit the bill better than the boys of Day 26. With a new album hitting stores in a few weeks, songs leaking left a right, a new episode of MTB4 later on tonight, AND a new video dropping TODAY, these dudes were more than perfect for the spot. So get ready for a JAMMED PACKED blog full or Day 26 goodness courtesy of your favorite duo here at the EXPERIENCE. : )

First up is the boys new video for lead single "Imma Put it On Her" which hit the web today. The song is standard Day 26, dope vocals over a hot beat. Put simply, it was a good video, i could've done without Diddy and Young Joc, and i felt like they needed to go with something alittle stronger to show some growth as a group. However its a hot song and has alot of radio potential which i aint madd at.

Next up the boys stopped by Snoops late night show to talk about the new record among other things. Good stuff indeed.

And finally we got a bunch of leaked tracks for you off the new album. Make sure to check em all out!!

Dizzy
Favorite Girl
Vixen ft. Sean Garrett
Imma Put it On Her
Reminds me of You
Shawty Wassup
BiPolar
So Good
Stadium Music

Enjoy the songs, and again the new album drops April 14, make sure to tune into Making the Band 4 and stay tuned to The Experience throughout the month of April for more updates and things on Day 26.

Behind the Scene's with Day 26
Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Tuesday, March 24, 2009 | 0 comments
The guys have been going at it all season on TV, but it seems like they pulled it together just in time for the album. As annoying as the show is now, its cool to see the guys are not getting caught up in the TV show (Aubrey...), and are focused on their music and making it happen. Hopefully diddy won't cut them off when its time for HIS album to drop later this year.

Album "Forever in a Day" in stores april 14th.
