When Kanye West approached Mr. Terius "The-Dream" Nash about doing a joint album, he informed the talented songwriter that he was going to need to step up his status alittle before they could move forward with their "Best of Both Worlds"-ish colaboration.

AND STEP HIS GAME UP IS EXACTLY WHAT HE DID...

The entire album is pure magic, track after track of hotness like only The-Dream can provide. Call him corny, call him silly, call him talentless, but this album will definately be the one that turns him into a superstar.

"Rocking that Shit" kicks off the album, and is followed by the upcoming singles "Walking on the Moon" ft Kanye West and "My Love" ft Mariah Carey. He gives us three straight tracks of heat before he kicks off what turned out to be a suprising well written and well orchestrated storyline about Love, Money and the drama they both bring.

In both "Put it Down" and "Sweat it Out" Dream talks about his favorite topic yet again, this time channeling R&B legend R.Kelly for these new Bump 'n' Grind anthems. He keeps the love theme going with "Take You Home 2 My Mama" where he croons about a girl he meets in the club.

It is in the middle of the album where The-Dream's true artistry is in full bloom as he hits us with a 4 song masterpiece about Love and Money. In the albums 2 title tracks he takes us back to the classic "Money can't buy love..." saying as he confesses trying to use money and gifts to keep his relationship alive, but ultimately lost his girl to a man who could give her time and attention. He brings out his best vocals, haromies, and production for the title tracks that definately show what it is that makes The-Dream so special, and why he just might outlast most of the artist whose hits he's been penning.

In "Fancy" he talks about a woman who shares his same love for money and describes their world wind love affair through shopping, traveling, and living the 'Fancy' life. The song then morphs into MY FAVORITE track of the album, and one of The-Dream's BEST songs to date, the 09 heartbreak Anthem "The Right Side of my Brain", which unlike the leaked version me and Phantom been blasting forever, has been beautifully master with some additional production that gives it that epic "Umbrella"/"Moving Mountains" feeling that we are used to getting from The-Dream.

The rest is standard Dream, in "Mr.Yeah" he brags about his bedroom skills and how he keeps the ladies coming back, and in "kelly's 12play" he sings about having sex to the classic album. The album closes out with the bonus track "Let Me See the Booty" produced by Lil Jon.

All and all Mr. Nash is setting himself up for a good year, with his third album "Love King" set to hit stores later this year, a collaboration album with Kanye West in the works, and his artist Electik Red and Christina Millian prepping for new albums (not to mention he's probably working on EVERYONE ELSES album right now...) We can expect good things from the ATLien. Good Job pimpin!
