First runner up is Mr. Ruff Ryder himself. Since the start of his career DMX has always found new ways to make it to the headlines. Like when he was arrested for Animal Cruelty, Reckless Driving, Unlicensed Driving, Drug Possession, and Identity Falsification.

So its pretty obvious that DMX has been through hell and back. In my opinion, he has always delivered solid tracks. If I ever had to pick a favorite rapper he would of definitely been a top pick.

I began to love Mr. Earl Simmons after his 1998 album "Flesh Of My Flesh, Blood Of My Blood". That album was simply the best an it will forever remain a classic in my book.


Despite all the negativity in his life, DMX seemed to be hitting the studio working on his latest projects. Due to a major album push back in October 2008, DMX is suppose to release somewhat of a double album this year. One being a traditional hip-hop album named " Walk With Me Now", the other being a gospel album called "You'll Fly With Me Later". It has also been reported that The Neptunes, T-pain, and Divine Bars are some of the producers who will be working on the masterpiece.
