Girl Groups Month: Must Have Albums

Here's some dope albums from 3 of my favorite female acts of all time. Check em out and enjoy!

First up is the last album from the talent ladies of Destiny's Child. Like the name suggest, "Destiny Fulfilled" is the final chapter in these ladies exciting and entertaining saga. They all bring their A game over remarkable production from some of the top producers in the game.

Next up is the vastly underrated second studio album from reality t.v starlets Danity Kane. "Welcome to Dollhouse" features Rick Ross, Day 26, and of course Diddy, but its DK that come front and center and kill it with their signature vocals and girl power attitude.
Lastly is the album that helped establish TLC as the biggest selling female act of all-time. "Fan Mail" features the smash hits "No Scrubs" and "Unpretty" and was the last album that saw all these three ladies together. A huge album is music history, and one of my favorite albums of all time.

Jay-Z is getting ready to drop the highly anticipated album "Blueprint 3" on sept. 11th, and here we have the official street single off the album.

"D.O.A (Death of Autotune)" finds Jigga getting back to the heart of rap, coming for dudes necks and addressing the current state of hip-hop. The track is dope, and is something imma be blasting for alittle. Check it out.

In other news its been reported that the albums official first single should be dropping soon and might feature hip-hop newcomer Drake. If so, i will definitely be checking for that.

Ciara on tour with Britney

With no costume changes, next to no props, and only 4 dancers, Ciara still manged to put on a better show her first night that Britney has this entire tour. With that said, it is alittle depressing to watch these videos knowing how talented Ciara is, and seeing her pretty much being thrown out there with nothing but a backing track and four dancers, while Britney gets the works and can't even sing live for her fans. Smh. Check out some of the clips below.

Awesome job, handled like a true artist. And the crowd seemed to be loving her, and its only night one. Hopefully this tour will help boast Ciara's popularity and allow her to make that big cross into the pop world she's been trying to hard to make this album.

Lloyd: Lessons in Love 2.0

Lloyd has always been one of my favorite male acts, i've even gone as far to call him one of the best musically. Although his talent isn't as impressive as the Chris Brown's and Ne-Yo's of the game, you'd be hard pressed to find a song from Lloyd that's not listenable.

So when i saw that he got his new mixtape out called "Lessons In Love 2.0", i wasted no time in downloading it. It features several of my favorite tracks from the album including some new gems worth a listen.

Lloyd is currently working on his fourth studio album, so this mixtape was a good look to keep people satisfied till the new project. Check it out.

Although i wasn't the biggest fan of the now trio, seeing as its Girl-Group i figured i'd be important to post.The ladies have given member Tiffany(Big Blonde one on the end) the axe. Although nothing is official, reports are stating that the girls new promo pics on their myspace only feature 3 of the girls, and that apparently Tiff has shown her discontent via her twitter page.

Well, the funny part is all they did was cut Tiff out of the pictures, which in itself is hilarious. Developing...

So i just got off work and i'm hella tired, but i wanted to share these videos with all my experience viewers.

First up is the latest video from R&B vixen Kelly Rowland. The video is simple yet beautiful, and considering how well the song is doing on radio, i feel like this video will be getting alot of plays on tv. Check it out!

Next up is the sneak peek for Jordin Sparks new video for "Battlefield". Everyone knows i've got the craziest crush on Jordin, and although i pictured the video waaaay different i like what they are doing. She looks beautiful and the videos got a great look to it. Can't wait to see the full vid.

Finally, my girl Jojo finally fills us in on whats been going on with her album "All I Ever Wanted". I've been really looking foward to this project, Jojo got all the potential in the world, and when this album drops i will be out there to get it. Listen to whats she's got to say...

Sad sad situation, and such an amazing artist with probably a really great album just sitting on the shelf collecting dust. Its situations like this that make me hate acts like Cassie, because they seem to get everything there way while real acts have to fight to see their projects succeed. SMH

So although i never actually paid attention to them, i do know that these guys are quite popular in the UK. They came in second to Alexandra Burke on last seasons X-Factor, and were even rumored to be joining Michael Jackson on his tour next year. With all that said, i was naturally impelled to check out the video for their debut single "Beat Again".

I dont get it...i've always been iffy about Alexandra's talent, but these dudes...wow.

From the corny dance moves, to the terrible song, and the dude with the bug eyes, and is that sanjaya???. Wtf???

Okay, let me get it together...

The UK has gained a rep for being very open minded as far as the music and artist they listen to, which is good because they shown love to some really talented acts before the rest of the world was even checking for them, like N'Sync and most recently Kelly Rowland.

But these guys don't really do it for me...vocally they leave much to be desired, they are all over the place on the dance front, and this is a terrible first single. Idk, somebody help me understand what makes these dudes so special!

Omarion signs to Young Money

I'm not to sure how i feel about this, being that Young Money IS a hip-hop label, and despite attempts in the past, not many hip-hop labels have manged to successfully put out R&B acts, especially not dudes. Lets see how this one goes.

Kat Deluna in the Studio with Scott Storch; Plus exclusive '9 Lives' Download!

Latin Diva Kat Deluna is still hard at work on her sophomore album "Inside Out", and she recently released videos of her in the studio with Scott Storch (Beyonce, Christina Aguilera) and Andre Merritt ('Disturbia'). Check out the footage below.

She's a ball of energy that Kat, and although sometimes she comes off alittle corny, i actually didn't mind her much in these videos. I think her working with Scott storch is a good look, and although alot of people see him as 'washed up', i always felt like he was a better producer than people gave him credit for, and songs like "Baby Boy" & "Fighter" still stand out in my mind, as oppose to all the recycled crap he handed to the likes of 50 Cent and Fat Joe.

Andre is on the come-up too, and after hearing all the demos he's been writing from Chris Brown and Rihanna, i think he's just what Kat Deluna needs.

As far as the new album is concerned, i'm still alittle torn. Although i love all the music i've heard so far, and i admire the labels choice to take a risk with first single "Unstoppable", the lack of promotion in regards to either single is ridiculous. Neither song has managed to crack the hot 100 yet, which is sad considering how many people are feeling "Dance Bailalo". But with no video or radio promo, the songs pretty much dead in the water.

Anyways, i been bumping Kat's debut for the past few weeks now (I picked it up at fye for only $4.99!!), so i wanted to share it with everyone. Its rare for a new artist to be able to create a debut that really says everything you could hope to say about a new act, and this album managed to capture everything one could want to say about Kat and more. Check it out, it made me a believer! lol

Adrienne Bailon-This Hot

Probably the project i'm looking most foward to this year, Adrienne is an exceptional talent with all the potential for success. About the track, its a solid offering, great beat courtesy of B.Cox, and good lyrics courtesy of The-Dream. Vocally she doesn't do anything too crazy, but she's a real singer and it shows in the overall deliver of the song. Keeping my eye on her for sure!

Kristina Debarge: Gotta Be Love

Increasingly becoming one of my favorite new acts of the year, Kristina delivers everything I want on this track, and sounds awesome as usual.

Paula Deanda: Back From Alone

Don't know if this is old or new, but it's new to me. Paula has always had good material in my eyes, this song being no exception, she sounds great and is a very underrated singer!

Brandon Hines: Weather

With everyone speculating the end of Chris Brown's career, Brandon Hines has been one of the many male R&B acts gaining alot of attention lately and thought to take Breezy's place in the game. He's got a great voice, and alot of dope material. "Weather" is a cool song thats gotta laid back vibe and shows off some of his vocal ability. To learn more about B-Hines check out this bio.

Wow, the purple hair was kinda dope, and they needed to include more of the choreography from the scene when she's in all white, those parts stood out to me alot while watching this.

So for those who know me (Kira!), you know that i've been checking for the kid Drake for a minute now. He's probably one of the few artists right now i'm actually excited about. He's got alot going on, 'Best I Ever Had' is killing on radio, he's got Jay-Z and Lil Wayne guess starring on his new album, and he's already being link to the most popular female artist in the game...Rihanna.

With that said, I wanted to go back and introduce (or re-introduce) Drake to some of the readers of 'The Experience' who might not know that much about him.

This talented Rapper started off acting on the popular Canadian T.V show Degrassi before venturing off into the music world. Since making his break in the business, he's worked with the likes of Trey Songz, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and other popular mixtape artist. His recent single "Best I Ever Had", off his "So Far Gone" mixtape, has quickly become one of the most popular songs of the year and has been remixed and covered by some of hip-hop's biggest names.

Seeing as he's getting ready to take over the world later this year with his debut album, i thought i'd hook you guys up with not one, not 2, but all three of his popular mixtapes. Check em out below!

The Ladies of Danity Kane are wasting no time getting their names out there, and main-chick and fan favorite D. Woods is already making major moves on the solo front. She performed the National Anthem at Cavaliers vs. Magics Basketball Game the other night, check it out.

Though nothing spectacular, she gets points for not trying to overdue it, and did really well considering the fact that alot of people didn't know she could sing. I've always had faith in D's vocal ability and she didn't disappoint.

Girl Group Month: Sophia Fresh

The-Dream has Electrik Red, Rich Harrison has RichGirl, and T-Pain has Sophia Fresh.

These 3 funky Diva's, like so many others, are out to make their mark on the female pop market. They are obviously one of the most colorful girl groups out right now, and their music has a great deal of energy and personality that can easily distinguish them from the pack. A couple singles in, these ladies are looking to finally break into the market with their latest track "Do The Dance".

This modern day Ratpack shows off like there is no tomorrow on this mixtape. These guys are the definition of cockiness, and they hold no punches with song after song of shit talking and such.

Not a bad mixtape, and a pretty smart marketing plan seeing as none of these dudes seems to be making any major moves on their own. I mean Trey is making a rise in game, but Usher and Nelly seem all but played out, and J.D's been surving strickly off his past success, cause he hasn't done anything really significant (other than ruining Janet's career) in awhile. And as much love as i got for Johnta, i don't seem him finding any solo success, he needs to stick to songwriting.

Collectively they got something going for them though, lets see if they can use this to their advantage and get stuff poppin for their own individual projects.

Where do I start?? I love these guys but this is unacceptable. Is the recession really that bad?

And where is Diddy and all of his money where you need him? You see not even he...who seems to be talking or showing his face in everyone else videos...didn't showed up for this disaster.

Despite being 5 talented vocalist, and overall really cool guys, i dont see these guys really be a huge success. They lack the essential edge and hit making ability to thrive in today's music industry. They need to come 20x harder than this...

I'm not too excited about the song. Although at first listen it sounds great, and i love the chemistry between Bran and Ne-Yo, something about the song seems underwhelming. I'm glad to see brandy taking a new direction, and love how she sounds on the song, but i found myself wanting more from her than she was willing to give on the track. Overall i'd give it a few more listens, but it feels like Ne-Yo really carries this song.

I'm still very excited for her new album, and i'm hoping she doesn't try to down play herself just to capture a more mainstream audience. If brandy stays true to herself, and lets the songwriter and producers handle the rest, she could be right back at the top where she belongs!

So i come home and already i'm all types of hype! Got some dope videos from some of my favorite acts, Check em out!

First up the sexy ladies of Paradiso Girls dropped their debut video for single "Patron Tequila" and its dope. Although the girls don't seem to really bring much on the dance front, they still looked hot and the video did the song justice. I'm feeling it. Shoutout to Eve too...that hair was on point! lol

Artist Spotlight: Miguel

Nowadays with so many male R&B dudes doing pretty much the same thing, its rare for somebody to truely wow me. However, Miguel is a very different species of male R&B artist.

When i first came across this exceptional talent, he was auditioning for a spot in R&B/Funk group Fatty Koo on their BET reality show. Although egos and personalities did not seem to agree, and he ultimately did not join the group, it was his amazing rendition of their song chills that left a lasting impression me.

Much later i can across his video for single "Hands Up", and although the song and videos overall cheese factor, it was obvious the guy has an amazing voice and is even quiet the performer.

Years later, Miguel has developed into one of music's most unique, eclectic, and underrated R&B dudes. His sound is a cool mesh of elements from hip-hop, funk, soul, and R&B. He, in my opinion, has enough swagger and talent to become one of the most significant dudes in the game.

Girl Groups Month

To kick off this months theme, I wanted to share with you guys some of my favorite videos from girl groups past and present.

First ones from my all time favorite girl-group, the ladies of TLC. What they might of lacked in talent, they made up for with loads of swagger and personality. Check out my favorite song from the threesome, 'Creep'.

So i wont lie, i haven't really been checking for Em this time around, and despite everyone's great reviews of his new project (even phantom says its the business), i have yet to check it out.

However, i do gotta shoutout Em for killing it this week on the charts, i honestly didn't know he was going to do so well but apparently he hasnt lost his touch! He's scored biggest sales week of the year, and is his 5th #1 debut.

Its appears Chris has broken his silence, and although i think this is all we are going to get from him for a long time, i got to admit im excited he's moving foward. Its no secret im not the biggest Chris Brown fan or supporter, but alot of the demos and leaked material that i heard after the Exclusive re-release has me believe his new album "Graffiti" just might change the game. Ryan Leslie recently confirmed he is one of the many producers working on the new project, and Chris Brown has confessed that he wants to work with both Madonna and Carrie Underwood, so this album just might be the kinda crazy cross over 'Futuresex/thriller/confessions' project Chris Brown has been wanted to create for awhile now. Although not much about him is entirely originally, its been Chris Brown's ability to connect himself with anything relevant and exciting in the music industry, and in many ways make it his own that has helped him become the massive star he is now. With all the Rihanna drama now behind him, he looks ready to make a huge comeback to the spotlight.

Nelly Furtado is one of the coolest acts in the game, and she recently stopped by 'Much on Demand' to promote her new group and talk about her new album. The new project is set to drop in Sept. and is suppose to be entirely in spanish. I cant wait, Nelly is just one of those acts who doesnt know how to make bad music.

She also recently launched her label called Nelstar, and the first act to come out of that project is Fritz Helder & The Phantoms. Simply put, this is Gay Dance music on Acid, check out the video for 'Making a Scene'.

Girl Groups Invasion...

As you can see, the theme this month is Girl Groups over here at The Experience, and although the ladies of Electrik Red have undoubtedly won our hearts, there are some other talented ladies you should be checking out.

First up are The Saturdays...they have been killing it overseas in the UK, and after 4 top ten hits it appears they might be planning to crossover. Check out the video for their latest single 'Work', which has been getting crazy plays on my G1 for a few weeks now.

Next up is possibly one of the more talented Female acts to hit the scene since Destiny's Child, these ladies are known as RichGirl. Brought together by the super talented Rich Harrison (Amerie-'1 Thing', Beyonce-'Crazy in Love', Jennifer Lopez-'Get Right'), imagine if someone put together a supergroup with all your favorite lead singers. Electrik Red "How to Be a Lady Vol 1."

Electrik Red is an all-girl ensemble comprising of Kyndra "Binkie" Reevey, Lesley Lewis, Naomi Allen and Sarah Rosete. Think EnVogue meets TLC. These girls got a swagger all their own, and bring an energy to the screen that is...well Electrik (lol).

All four ladies got their start in the industry as back-up dancers and video models. After meeting in 2004 the ladies formed Electrik Red the next year and have worked hard for the past few years to secure a record deal.

The ladies got their big break in 2008 when they got signed to Def Jam Records and later met The-Dream and Tricky Stewart, who executive produced their debut album entitled "How to Be a Lady: Vol. 1".

The girls are 3 singles in on the promo front, and getting ready to drop their 4th single, "P is for Power" soon.

Ciara 'Fantasy Ride'

So it was taken down yet again, and this time i wont be re posting it, but i do want to encourage everyone to go out and pick up this album.

Ciara is one of the most talent and exciting female artist in the game right now, and its her ability to create great music and entertain that has helped her remain relevant and popular. Although acts like Beyonce and Rihanna reign supreme in the pop-market, i think Ciara offers something neither of these woman posses. She's an individual who knows herself, knows her sound, and knows what she wants her music to say.

The album is a classic indeed, from start to finish. Stand out tracks "Like a Surgeon", "Keep Dancing on Me", and "G is for Girl" are what helped make this album so special to me, these songs just stood out as true Ciara Anthems. lol.

Pussycat Dolls...What is really the deal??

Now i've been really thinking about all the drama that's recently been surrounding the Pussycat Dolls. With acts like Danity Kane & Cherish falling apart, and no European girl-groups being able to make the cross into the U.S Marking (Did you hear the sugababes got signed to Roc-a-fella Records??), PCD have been the only girl-group to remain relevant and keep it together. Until now...Their structure as a group has always bothered alot of people. The fact that Nicole sings everything even though all 5 members of the group are fully capable of carrying a note, escpecially powerhouse vocalist Melody. The fact that not only has Nicole been hanging a Solo Career over the group since jump, but that she now gets her own features on PCD songs, and for the most part now even does her OWN backgrounds and harmonies.

I dont know about anyone else, but i also think its funny that PCD creator Robin Antin has already gone and created not 1, but 2 other groups that she's pushing right now almost as if preparing for the fall of the Pussycat Dolls.

I don't know exactly where any of its going, but PCD is on life support right now in a major way. Despite all of Nicole's talent and potential, people don't really seem to like her much alone, not to mention everyone and their mother is checking for Melody real hard right now, and i feel like she could be the one to really watch as all of this unfolds.

Wow so Chilli and T-Boz have been doing alot this year, T was on Celebrity Apprentice and Chilli's been working on different endorsements. She's suppose to be working on a new album and last i heard she was signed to Akon's label, but can we stop for a minute and admire how beautiful this woman is...STILL!

Damn, she's still beautiful. TLC is one of the greatest ACTS to ever emerge, they were very different and refeshing and if Chilli decides to persue a solo deal i hope she brings that same excitement and individuality that made TLC so phenomenal. So myself and the rest of the world have been growing increasingly tired of the Pussycat Dolls and their setup, its really annoying. Nicole is a one woman show, ft the Dolls. Not much different from Gwen Stefani and her Harijuku Girls or Fergie and her mexicans (lol). But this video was a nice treat indeed...

as u know all 5 dolls got their own Solo tracks for the Doll Domination Album, and below is all their peformances. Now although they are not as good as Nicole (give them a break they barely sing), but Melody is a beast! She ripped it. She needs to go solo forreal. I've had this vision of her working with Ryan Leslie...imagine her with Cassie's sound?? lol, anywayz, check them out all doing their thing.

Also their are 2 new tracks that leaked from the dolls today, both are left overs from the album and i can see why. Not bad tho...check em out.

Artist Spotlight: Ron Starr

To talk about someone talented is one thing, but to actually know and work with them is something completely different.

From the moment i met singer/songwriter Ron Starr it was obvious he wasn't your average R&B singer. He has a swagger all his own, and a drive like no other. Not to mention a voice that would put alot of people in the industry right now to shame...

His refreshing style and sound are 2 of the key things that make this young man a must know artist. Not to mention his affiliation with the colorful and diverse group of young people know as the Tracchild Stars, all of which represent different areas of music, style, and dance in a way only they know how.

I had the pleasure of working with Ron on the haunting R&B ballad "Thoughts of My Ex", one of many greats songs that combins his soulful vocals over edgy R&B beats, a formula he's become well known for.

The future looks bright for this 'Starr', and with his drive and determination, all is possible. Def someone to keep an eye out for.

Danity Kane officially over...

The little bit of hope that myself and everyone else held onto so tightly was washed away after tonights season finale of Making the Band 4. The ladies all went around in circles for most of the show, not being able to truely resolve anything other than the fact that they were unhappy as a group and that certain 'things' where wrong from the beginning of Danity Kane that caused the break up.

It was obvious they are all numb to the situation by now, with the exception of Shannon who was obviously very emotional, and Drea who didn't even show up after being fired on last weeks episode (i dont even blame her).

Dawn honestly got on my nerves for the first time ever. I always defended how she stood by the group and was so envolved and whatnot, but she feeling her new haircut alittle too much, she was acting very 'showoff-ish' about her new deal, and was defending diddy and Bad Boy Records real hard. Plus the other girls didn't seem to really be feeling her whole vibe, she was very defensive about all things diddy. (Did you see her facial expressions when Aubrey was talking...?) Do whatchu gotta do to protect that check i guess...

just wish they all woulda been honest about the situation and not pussyfoot around it.

All in all, it was obvious after this episode that the ladies all EQUALLY where okay not being a group, and they all seem to have alot going on right now. Shannon hinted at a career in the country music world, Aubrey has a reality show in the works and is doing another broadway musical, D. Woods is working on a solo project and movie roles, and Dawn is working on diddy's 'Last Train to Paris' album as well as writing and working on her solo album.

Alls well that ends well right??? idk, im still torn. Was really hoping for a reunion...your thoughts??

ohh and btw...what did you think of the guys?? They seemed all over the place to me. All that time on tour and they still seem to clash on stage, that performance of 'Perfectly Blind' was almost cringeworthy, not to mention how badly they were lip-syncing to 'Stadium Music'. I will give them points on the dancing front tho, they looked like New Edition for a hot second. lol

So as the month is winding down, we are gearing up for the month of May with a Brand New theme. Under the Radar month has been great, and we are looking forward to have another great theme to spotlight throughout the next month. Here's some ideas we'd like you to check out...

First up is Throwback Month, we are all for the old school here at the experience, and there are some great artist, songs, and albums from back in the days that deserve a good listen ya know.

Next up is Producers Month. We all know producers are the real stars in todays music industry, and although a good amount of them have been able to find fame through their hits, there are countless other talented producers and songwriters that many people many not know about...

Hip-Hop Month, Now we don't feature many rappers or hip-hop artist on the experience because of the simple fact that most of them suck. But why not highlight some of the actual talents out there in the music industry that aren't mainsteam yet?

Finally, with their surge in popularity, there are arguably enough girl groups on the come up to create a whole month about them...so why not. Girl Group Month will give us a chance to highlight some of the hottest female groups trying to make it big around the world.

She's a very talented young woman whose style is unique, refreshing and exciting. Her ability to apply her style to every type of music is a quality i've grown to appreciate in her. Even Making the Band 4 stars Que and Dawn attend her class, and she worked with Rihanna on her first project. She definitely deserves a look if your into dancing.

VH1 Divas Show Returns in September!

Probably one of the highlights of watching VH1 back in the days was 'VH1 Divas'. Every year they'd bring together some of the most talented women in music to share the stage together for one night. In the past they brought together some epic duets (Whitney & Mary, Beyonce & Jewel, Brandy & Faith Hill). With that said, they been gone for a minute, but they coming back, and the best part is we can vote on the Diva's that will be appearing this year.

Now just by checking out the comments that have already been put up, its obvious the world wants Mariah and Leona to share the stage this year, which would be amazing. Of course the likes of Beyonce, Rihanna, Ciara, and Christina Aguilera are front-runners too. And i'd personally like to see the reeeeaaalll Diva's come out, you know the people like Whitney, Toni, and Celine that we haven't seen in awhile. In definately heading over to VH1.com to drop my votes, you should 2. Who would you like to see this september on Divas??

Comeback Kids: Cassie vs. Christina Milian

For every young pop diva who makes it big in the industry, there are about 5 who don't. And over the years although we've seen acts like Ciara, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga become massive successes, we've seen equally talented and exciting acts fall off and disappear.

2 young woman who have not given up on their goal to become stars, Cassie & Christina Milian, are both gearing up for their big comebacks this year. Cassie with the album "Electro Love" and C-Mili with her Myspace records debut "Elope".

Both of these young women have great potential, and have managed to stay relevant in today's music industry despite not being the the chart topping successes we know they could be. But with that said, who do you see making the big comeback in 09. They both might experience some success, but only one of these ladies can be the real Comeback story of 2009.

With their new sounds, new haircuts, and new drive to become the best...who are you rooting for more??

Artist Spotlight: Aundrea Fimbres

Danity Kane has become one of the saddest music stories in recent years. With all the talent, Potential, and Appeal in the world, we tuned in every week to watch Diddy turn these 5 regular girls into superstars, and then tear then right back down all for the sake of good t.v. In the process destroying any hopes of these ladies ever getting back together again, or even making music period.

Although all the ladies are talented in their own right and have great potential, the one that i fell in love with from the beginning was Aundrea. Watching her from the first season, you saw her make the transformation almost before your eyes, from just another reality show contestant, to a Popstar with moves and vocals to match some of today's biggest divas.

With that said, diddy was a fool to let her go last week, with acts like Jennifer Lopez and Shakira currently M.I.A, its obvious that people are looking for the next latin pop starlet to take their place, or atleast hold it down.

Drea's got something different that not alot of people have, and she's the real deal. Check out this video of some of her best vocal performances over the years.

I bet money Drea could be a major star solo, and i think she's got just as much talent if not more than acts like Kat Deluna and Adrienne Bailon who are both being marketed to the same latin pop market that made acts like J.Lo and Shakira stars. Time will tell...

So i watched this interview, and i gotta say although it was unbelievably awkward, it love it. lol
Lady Gaga is sooo wonderfully strange unpredictable, if your a fan or not you gotta admit she's a wild one, and pretty funny too. Check it out.

She also performed a heavy-metal inspired rendition of her hit "Poker Face" and it was interesting to say the least. I give her points for keeping it fresh, but its by far not her best performance.

So im alittle late on these, well only a couple hours late, but i was at work gimme a break. lmao

Anywayz got 2 dope new videos that i think all my Experience fans will enjoy, check em out.

First up are the peas, back and better than ever. Trendsetters, barrier breakers, they just know how to make great videos, and this latest one is no exception. Check out the premier of their new video for "Boom Boom Pow".

I got back and forth about Fergie, but she looked good in this video forreal.

Next up is R&B superstar Ne-Yo. He's on his fifth single, and it seems he took it to another level. Dude laid down some serious acting in this video, doing his thing.

Its crazy how with all these great performers out now (Chris Brown, Omarion, Usher) our biggest male artist at the moment are 2 songwriters (Ne-Yo, The-Dream). Def gives hope to artist like me. Goes to show anybody out there, if you got something you feel is special, doesnt matter if its not what people may want right then and there, keep pushing it cause you never know when people are going to want something new and different. You could just have that something different that people want. : )

New Keri Hilson!!

February Artist of the Month Keri Hilson was well worth the wait. After all the push backs and singles, once the ball got rolling she really brought the A game. The album is crazy, and all her features have been really hot. This new track with Ron Browz is the bidnesz forreal forreal, and in true Keri fashion, the vocals sound amazing.

Also check out this other dope track from Keri called "Trojan Man", the snip leaked awhile back under the name "Get Outta Here", and the full song sounds awesome. Its a good look for Keri right now to get some more songwriting credits to her name now while she's pushing her album cause it will remind people exactly why she's popping right now. So I been eagerly awaiting to hear music from Christina Milian, she's done a good job making a buzz for herself this time around, and when it comes down to the music, she didn't disappoint. Her and Dream are a winning combo indeed.

It seems these girls came just in the nick of time, with rumors of Dolls going solo left and right, and PCD simply losing their flair all around, these young ladies seem to have what it takes to change the game.

"Wow" is a dope track from these ladies, and its rumored that they will be featured in some Coke commercials later this year once they are officially launched. Sounds big, can't wait. These girls could be the new Danity Kane.

Girl Groups seem to be on the rise today, and even tho everyone's favorite groups like Danity Kane and Pussycat Dolls (did you hear Ashley is going solo?) are falling apart, there are so many up and coming groups just waiting in line to take their place.

One group that's caught my attention over these past few months is The Saturdays.

The colorful 5-some have made quite a splash in their native UK with a handful of hits (If This Is Love","Up","Issues","Just Can't Get Enough") and a successful debut album "Chasing Lights".

As you can see in the video above, the girls bring a different brand of sass and appeal to the game that's all their own, somewhat reminiscent of the Spice Girls but with a little more polish, and ALOT more talent.

This has proven to be a winning combo for them and they're currently working on their highly anticipated sophomore album set to drop later this year.

I'm loving what they bring to the table, and although its obvious these girls are talented and different, do you think they have what it takes to cross over into the U.S market? Or are they just an overseas sensation??

So last night i ended up watching The Sex and the City movie, not a planned event, but nonetheless it was suprisingly pretty good. Jennifer Hudson surprised the crap outta me in the movie because althought i knew she was in it, i was never clear as to her role in the film. She killed it tho, did a awesome job, and when i got on the computer today and saw this performance, i HAD to post it. She a monster on stage, no lie!
